About us

We make beauty tech
you can check

CurrentBody Skin has translated clinical light, radio frequency and microcurrent treatments into devices people actually keep using at home, since 2009.

Our story

From one flexible mask to 80 countries

In 2009, Laurence Newman had spent 25 years in the beauty and aesthetic industry, most of it around professional devices. He took a plan to Andrew Showman, who had built an online camera business, and between them they started a store with one goal: sell the technologies that work in a clinic to people who want them at home.

The product that defined the brand was the flexible LED light therapy mask. Traditional LED panels were rigid and awkward. CurrentBody Skin made one that wraps to the face, runs for five minutes and fits into a normal routine. It is now used by more than 500,000 people in 80 countries.

From there the range grew along the same logic. The Neck & Décolletage Mask answered the areas a face mask misses. The LED Hair Growth Helmet brought light therapy to the scalp. The RF Skin Tightening Device added radio frequency, and the Green Tea Serum gave every device a skincare partner.

What holds it together is testing. CurrentBody Skin runs independent clinical trials, uses the Veritace® measurement standard, and holds FDA clearance on the categories that need it. The idea is simple: prove the result, then ask you to buy.

How we work

Proof over promises

Independent testing

Every device is measured in clinical trials and against the Veritace® standard before launch. If we cannot show the result, we do not make the claim.

Designed for home

A device only works if you use it. Five-minute sessions, flexible shells and routines that fit around the rest of your day.

Support from us

You buy from the official store, so your warranty is registered to you and support runs through our own team. No middle layer.

More questions

What is the difference between red light, blue light and near-infrared?

Red light at 633nm works on the surface layers for tone and collagen, and near-infrared at 830nm reaches deeper for firmness and recovery. Blue light at 415nm targets acne bacteria. Most CurrentBody Skin masks let you run one, the other or a combination.

What is the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum used for?

The Green Tea Serum is a lightweight, water-based serum built to sit under any LED treatment. It hydrates and calms while you mask, and it keeps the skin surface primed so the light session does its job. Apply it before, not after.

What is CurrentBody Skin’s return and refund policy?

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and send a device back, and we refund the price you paid once it reaches us. Faulty devices are covered by a two-year warranty. Start a return from your account or by emailing [email protected].
